About The Goosebumps of Delight

Adapted & Directed by Gavin Robertson

Performed by Nicholas Collett

A Charles Dickens Double Bill – with a Twist of the Macabre and a Wink of Comedy!

A delightfully dark sequel from the creators of The Ghost of a Smile. This new stage adaptation brings to life two of Charles Dickens’ most spirited ghost stories, retold with a comic flair that enhances their warmth and wit.

In The Baron of Grogzwig, a melancholy nobleman who is challenged by domestic life, finds unexpected company when a mischievous Demon pays him a visit. In The Goblins Who Stole a Sexton — the very story that inspired A Christmas Carol — a grumpy gravedigger learns a supernatural lesson in kindness and redemption.

Expect laughter, chills, and a touch of Victorian sentiment, all delivered through inventive physical theatre and storytelling.

Themes of humility, humanity, and second chances shine through — only this time, they’re funnier than ever.
