It’s been twenty-five years since Trigger Happy TV burst onto our screens, transforming the hidden camera format with its surreal universe of characters and unforgettable pranks. Now, to celebrate a quarter-century of chaos, Dom Joly is bringing his most iconic characters and sketches to The Old Town Hall in this Trigger Happy TV Live: 25th Anniversary - Work In Progress show.

About Dom...

Dom Joly is a multi-award-winning British comedian and writer. His smash hit hidden camera series Trigger Happy TV re-defined the genre and was a primetime international smash- selling to over 80 countries around the world and had a spin-off series on Comedy Central USA.

Dom has also made World Shut Your Mouth for BBC1 and two series of This is Dom Jolyfor BBC3as well as two series of Fool Britannia– a prime-time Saturday night comedy show for ITV1. In 2016 he brought back an updated and brand-new series of Trigger Happy to huge acclaim for All4and Channel 4

In 2021/22 he toured the UK on a 56-night tour of Dom Joly’s Holiday Snaps in which he discussed his life in travel and comedy.

In Feb/March 2023 he toured again- The Conspiracy Tour(ist) in which he dealt with his recent experiences in this field. The tour was extended for a second run in September, October and November 2024.

• ONLINE BOOKINGS ONLY - Due to overwhelming demand there will be NO in person or phone bookings for this show. Please do not come to the venue to book tickets
• Tickets are limited to 2 per household
• Please arrive 30 minutes before the start of the show. Latecomers may be refused entry
• Reselling of tickets will result in cancellation of the booking

The ONLY way to buy tickets will be via our website, the phone lines and in person box office will be closed. Please do not leave a voicemail requesting tickets as we will be unable to call you back due to the speed the show will sell.
