Charting the untold story of the witches of Oz, Wicked finds Glinda (Ariana Grande) and Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo) as they first cross paths as roommates at Shiz University, presided over by Headmistress Madame Morrible (Michelle Yeoh). During her time studying, Elphaba falls for dashing prince Fiyero (Jonathan Bailey), while nurturing her rare talent as a sorceress of real magic. This catches the attention of the mighty Wizard of Oz himself (Jeff Goldblum), who invites Elphaba to the Emerald City to meet – accompanied by her new best friend Glinda. But everything changes upon their encounter, as Elphaba discovers a terrible plan to unite the kingdom of Oz by unleashing the ultimate – and most wicked – villain upon them…
